Messiah Yahusah Wanted a Bride

Marriage Supper of the Lamb

The love story of love stories about a Bride and Bridegroom. All of redemption came before the foundation of the world and manifests in the world. This redemption would form a family and a bride for our Creator Yahuah. He wants a bride and a family.  Perhaps the greatest mystery in the scriptures surrounds this relationship.

The scripture is plain enough for all to see that Yahusha is the Bridegroom. It is also plain that He will one day take certain righteous ones to Himself as a Bride. Who it is that will compose the Bride and how particularly favored she is.  However, the Bride is hidden. It has long been kept secret, guarded as it is a very, very, very valuable truth. Few have understood what you will read here.

Who is the Bride and what are her qualifications? We will expound on this but these things will remain veiled to those whom the Bridegroom hides it. If your eyes are opened to such matters then rejoice, because you are a candidate, one who has been wooed by the Bridegroom and fallen in love. You have accepted His washing of water with the Word and have rejoiced in Him.

Who will become united in marriage as the Bride of Yahusha? There are two keys herein that instruct us about the assembly who the Bridegroom will present to Himself as a Bride in all her adornment. Case in point; a woman can be standing in a room with many men, but only one is her husband.

A Profound Mystery The reference in Ephesians 5:31 points us to Genesis 2:24.

Ephesians 5:28-30 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. 29) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Yahusha the assembly: 30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Ephesians 5:31: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Genesis 2:24 therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

She is a separate entity, existing apart from the assembly. There is an assembly of the Body of Messiah and there is an assembly of the Bride of Messiah. Each are an assembly that is related to but independent of the other. Together, they can also be referred to as the Common Wealth of Israel. As I will shortly exhibit in scriptural patterns, the Bride is actually taken out of the Body .( Read Ephesians 5:22,23)

It is her behavior that sets her apart. The determining factor as to whether someone will be accounted as Body or Bride will be made on the basis of subjection to Yahusha. Just as not many wives are truly in subjection to their husbands in everything, so not many in the assembly are truly submitted to Yahusha in everything. It is in the practice of submission that the Bride is washed with water of His word. She will become holy and blameless, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish. It is not the un-submissive but rather the completely submissive whom Yahusha that will present to Himself as a radiant set apart Bride. She keeps His Feasts, Sabbaths and appointed times.

The two passages compare in that Yahusha is identified as another Adam, the last Adam.

45) So also it is written, “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46) However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 47) The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. 48) As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 49) Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly. I Corinthians 15:45-49

There are two pattern Adams; the first man Adam and the last Adam who is Yahusha. These Adams are shown in I Corinthians to each be an example after which many more would be brought forth in like kind. Both Adams have bodies of a particular nature – and have had or will have a bride of like nature! It is a glorious truth that there are also two Eves (Chva)! The original biblical name of Eve is “Chava.” As with most of the names in the Torah, the Torah explains the significance of this name, which was given to her by Adam.

“The man called his wife’s name Chava, because she had become the mother of all the living” Genesis 3:20. The root of this name is connected with the word Chaya which means living, and the word “Chai” which means life. “Chava” is in causative form – i.e. she caused all the people in the future to live.  Genesis 3:20

The natural first woman Chava/Eve was for the first man Adam and was taken from his own natural body. The “last Eve” who is referred to as the Bride of Yahusha, the Bride of the Lamb is for the last Adam. The natural Eve was taken from the first Adam’s body, so shall a woman/Commonwealth of Israel/Bride be taken from the last Adam’s Body.

The last Adam did not have a bride while his body was an earthy body born of Mary in Bethlehem after the fashion of the first Adam. However, he has a body which is the many who are part of His family/Commonwealth of Israel, spiritual and heavenly in nature. It is from this Body that a particular remnant will be taken out to be His Bride. The Bride is obviously not the whole or everyone in the assembly of the Body but rather a remnant taken out of it to become a distinct and separate entity, just as the first woman Eve was separate from Adam’s body.

In our observation of the pattern shown to us in Ephesians 5:28-29

This scripture makes reference to the assembly consisting of we ourselves as part of the body of Messiah. The Bride that will be taken out of the many in the Body will be heavenly bone of His heavenly bones and heavenly flesh of his heavenly flesh. The Bridegroom exhibited this heavenly flesh and bones for all the disciples to see and feel following His resurrection, and recorded this testimony for our sakes.

See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have. Luke 24:39

The Bride will be taken out of the Body in resurrection when the heavenly last Adam Bridegroom comes to receive her to Himself, and then she will be flesh of His flesh and bone of His bones, bearing the image of the heavenly! When in Genesis 2:24 and Ephesians 5:31 it is declared that the two will become one flesh, it is a certain promise that the Bride’s body will be the same kind as His body!

Here is another view of the wedding that will take place.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; Therefore Yahuah, Your Creator, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your fellows. 8) All Your garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made You glad. 9) Kings’ daughters are among Your noble ladies; At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir. 10) Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house; 11) Then the King will desire your beauty. Because He is your Master, bow down to Him. 12) The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; the rich among the people will seek your favor. 13) The King’s daughter is all glorious within; Her clothing is interwoven with gold. 14) She will be led to the King in embroidered work; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You. 15) They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing; They will enter into the King’s palace. 16) In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make them princes in all the earth. 17) I will cause Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the peoples will give You thanks forever and ever. Psalms 45:7-17

The one who has been set above his companions is the anointed one, Hamashiach, the Bridegroom Yahusha. His bride is seen here as beautiful and adorned with gold. Since the one addressed in verse 16 will make the sons princes throughout the land, this union of the Bridegroom and Bride will produce sons for Yahusha who will take the place of their fathers. A special message is given to the Bride: Listen, O daughter, consider and give ear: and the instruction is given. The Bride will listen, and obey. She keeps His Sabbaths and Feasts and set apart times. She will forget her people and her Father’s house, the body of Messiah out from whom she came. The virgins, her companions who follow her, those that will be brought to her are those virgins of Matthew 25 who are wise.
