The Creator of the universe, Creator of your life basically tells us that if we chose to believe in Him we are to hear His instructions (words) and do them. That is how it works. If you want to hear them and not do them you are living one foot in the world and one foot out trying to be religious. That doesn’t work well.
Buildings are full of believers that have been polluted by our culture wherein they become hearers and not doers of the Word, as is said in James 1:22. “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” If we do not do Yahuah’s Word, then we deceive ourselves; any wonder that mature Spiritual discernment is lacking? How sucked in to the world have we become?
It is NOT an option we must guard our eyes, ears and mind.

THE MEDIA
We live in the midst of a media storm, and believers need to develop discernment in their consumption of various media (TV, movies, music, videos, computer, etc). Every day we are confronted by more media messages than a previous generation could even imagine. It can be a consuming media storm.
More homes have TV sets on for more than six hours a day. Children spend more time watching television except sleeping .Nearly half of elementary school children and 60 percent of adolescents have television sets in their bedrooms. Families are watching more movies than ever before
If you have become a news junkie, you are or will be operating soon in a spirit of delusion.
If you are reading more news articles than scripture, you are on your way to the danger zone. That is dangerous because it will affect your ability to spiritually discern, hear and see. The Spirit of the anti-Messiah is waiting at the door to brainwash and influence as many true believers as he can. Don’t misunderstand,
I am not suggesting you not be a watchman, I am talking about consumption.
If you are mesmerized by the events of the day, and it is consuming your time more than Yahusha is, your eyes are on the anti-Messiah’s activities and not Yahusha.
Yahusha always comes first.
Ha Satan has control of the media these days, be very careful not to be lured in to wanting the latest greatest news and entering chat rooms filled with men’s opinions that are elevated above HIS WORD. This is what the Greeks did, loving to expose every point of view.
A Spirit of Delusion is waiting at the door of entertainment to your soul. What are you allowing to entertain your soul?
It is becoming evident that on radio, television, and internet religious programming is made up of believing individuals that have become affected by the culture. The extent that proper judgment is not utilized and self-deception begins to reign. Are we getting a worldly view of our scriptures? Yes, much is laced with the traditions of men and from the two most read books of the bible today; “First and Second Opinion.” Opinions will not save you in time of crisis.
Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
Proverbs 28:7 He who keeps the law is a discerning son, but he who is a companion of gluttons humiliates his father
Malachi 3:18 So you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves Elohim and one who does not serve Him.
Psalm 119:66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.

Job 34:4 So let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
