Unrealistic Expectations:
The renewing of our mind is all about transformation and sanctification, it is not accomplished overnight. Do not allow yourself to get discouraged or overwhelmed. Realize each of us are flawed to some degree, we all have rough edges “no exceptions” here. This process occurs over your whole lifetime.
Let’s get to work.
Tell those people around you; friends, family your spouse that you are on an assignment. Tell them you are after ‘ yourself’, tell them you have decided to get delivered from yourself. Tell them you are going for a deeper walk with the Master, tell them you are not willing to remain the same and to hold you accountable when they see negative, ungodly attitudes and actions.
As your daily life plays out and you hit the ditch again, hold up the sign that say
When your mamma is in your face, when your boss is unreasonable, when your children are unruly, when someone uses you, takes advantage of you, slanders you, bears false witness against you – love them anyway. Tell them you are on assignment, you’re working on something bigger than what they could do or say to you. Ask them if you did anything wrong, anything to incite them and tell them you are going to be the first to step up and repent. Tell them you are going for as much of Yahuah as you can get. Their behavior is not going to stop your pursuit for a renewed mind and a changed life.
Let’s recap what we have learned:
- Get in His Word, find the verses that give you understanding of the positive qualities He wants to impart into you, and what negative qualities He wants to remove for a renewed mind. .
- Make the best attempts daily to “put on” these good, positive qualities, then “put away” all the bad and negative destructive qualities and behaviors operating in you. It is a choice. No more degrading with our mouths, no more stubbornness, giving ultimatums. You’re going for a renewed mind.
- Now be open and sensitive to any communication you may receive from Yahuah on any specific areas He may want to work with you on. Once you allow Him in your life to participate, He will let you know. It might be a bit painful at times; it is hard to admit to anyone, including ourselves or to Yahuah that we have a problem in our personality. Let Yahuah do the inner surgery to make you well. This is called the circumcision of your heart. The place where you find that you love Him more than your flesh, more than you anger, more than life itself. You don’t want your life to be a disappointment to Him.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts cleansed from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (Word) Hebrews 10:22
Cast Your Vote:
You will either vote against having a victorious life which is a life lived through your five senses; or you will vote to have a victorious life allowing Yahshua to change you by the power of His Spirit.
Either choice is going to tie you to a future.
Whichever way you votes matters, so your vote has value.
If you vote on the side of your five senses, you will continue to agree with the illusion of lack or the outward circumstances or physical pain.
If you vote on the side of His Word and Spirit, you will renew your mind.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Yahuah, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I am not talking about how many times you have gone through the Word, it is how many times the Word has gone through you. A whole lot of people that can talk the Word and about heaven (aren’t going to succeed.)
The renewing of your mind is the replacement of your old values, attitudes and beliefs, even your concepts of Yahuah Himself. Your mind is the only territory over which you have complete control. You choose, you determine what you think about, you determine what you do. You determine what you accept or reject.
Romans 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness; because a short work will YHWH make upon the earth
Colossians 2:10,11 And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. 11) In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Yahshua
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above first; pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
I Peter 1:22 Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently;
